Jazz and Blues return to Nelsonville with the 4th Annual Music in the Schools featuring Mark Pender, the trumpet player from the Conan O'Brien Show! Featuring performances from R and B Station with Mark Pender, and the Alexander High School Jazz Band and Terry Efaw (of McGuffey Lane). There will also be workshops during the day. This event is sponsored by Alexander High School, Athens County Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and WXTQ Radio.
Tickets can be purchased through Stuart's Opera House and Athens County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Mark Pender will also be playing at Rhapsody Restaurant at 6:00pm, for dinner reservations call 740-753-5740
