Become a Part of the
Excitement....Join Us!
Guild members act as ambassadors for Stuart's Opera House. By becoming a member of the Stuart's Opera House Guild, you will have opportunity to work with fellow community members and Stuart's Opera House staff to ensure the success of this historical performing arts center and support the arts in the community. The Stuart's Opera House Guild was formed in 1997 with the reopening of the historical Stuart's Opera House.
Come to our monthly meetings held at 6:00 P.M on the first Wednesday of each month in the 1879 Room of the Opera House.
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Membership is open to anyone wishing to support the purpose of the Guild. There are two categories:
ACTIVE: Those who wish to support the Guild through the payment of dues and serving various functions at Opera House events. Functions involve: selling refreshments, taking tickets, selling merchandise, ushering and promoting Stuart's.
SUSTAINING: Those who wish to support the Guild financially through the payment of dues.
Dues: $15 individual; $25 couple
Membership year runs January-December, but new members are welcomed at any time. Membership forms are available at Stuart’s.
Available Guild duties:
- Act as ushers during events
- Hand out programs/take tickets
- Conduct tours
- Run concessions
- Operate merchandise sales
- Organize and conduct fundraising activities for the Guild
- Assist the Opera House Director as needed
