Stuart's has a real busy August with an event for everyone... Saturday, August 6 we present the annual A Night with the Legends. This event features local folks doing tribute performances of some of entertainments biggest legends including Elvis, Aretha, Gladys, Janis, Abbott & Costello, and more! And it's a fundraiser for Stuart's! Thursday, August 11 our FREE Summer Concert Series with Duke Jr. and the Smokey Boots and The Randys (and there's a beer garden!). Then on Wednesday, August 17th we host up and coming songwriting duo Shovels & Rope at ARTS/West (132 W. State Street in Athens, Ohio), we are very excited about this one.... and then if all of that was not enough we host the annual Ohio State Fiddling Contest on Friday, August 19th as part of Nelsonville's Parade of the Hills.

Summer continues here at Stuart's with some great July shows! Join us on Thursday, July 14th for a FREE Summer Concert Series show in our parking lot from Woody Pines, and it's Ohio Brew Week and as always we will be serving some great Jackie O's beer from Athens. And we hope to see you again on Thursday, July 28th for a performance from rising Texas singer-songwriter Hayes Carll. Don't miss it.

Stuart's Opera House is excited to once again host our FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES in our parking lot! We kicked it off on June 9 with Caravan of Thieves and continues on Thursday, July 14 with WOODY PINES + Thursday, August 11 with DUKE JUNIOR & THE SMOKEY BOOTS and THE RANDYS + Thursday, September 8 with NICK TOLFORD and COMPANY. These shows are completely free and take place in the Stuart's parking lot (in case of bad weather they will move inside the theater) and also feature a beer garden too!

We've announced several additional artists for this year's Nelsonville Music Festival including Over the Rhine, Doug Paisley, Southeast Engine, Mount Carmel, Ned Oldham & Old Calf and Cheyenne Marie Mize. Three-day passes are currently on sale for $70, as well as single-day passes which range in price from $50-$65. Please visit our ticketing page for more information.
